Regularly scheduled well Child check ups

In the first few months and years of life your child grows and develops very rapidly and so needs more frequent check ups. As the get older checkups are needed less frequently though still needed.

  • First month of life 2 visits (Visit 1 within first week of life, Visit 2 at 1 month of age)
  • Every 2 months  from the age of 2 months to 6 months
  • Every 3 months from the age of 6 months to 18 months
  • Every 6 months from 18 months  to 3 years
  • Every year from age 3 years onwards

Adolescent Care

Adolescence is defined as the time between puberty and adulthood. It is a very interesting time and one that causes
Age Appropriate Testing and Screenings:

  • Obesity
  • High blood pressure
  • Iron, Lead Sickle cell, Diabetes, STDs
  • Asthma
  • Developmental delays

Episodic Sick Care

We recognize that illness is never planned so when illness strikes we can help.
Why wait in the ER for hours and see a stranger when you can come to us instead. For most childhood illnesses the emergency room is not the right place to go. Call us first.  We are available by phone 24 hours a day even after hours for urgent calls. We can offer phone advice, same day office visits or direct you to the appropriate ER if necessary. Use your judgement, If your child is having a life threatening emergency please head straight to the ER or call 911.

Chronic Illness Monitoring

If your child has a chronic illness that requires monitoring, we will as the primary care provider, coordinate your child’s care. We can answer questions and advise you about procedures and treatment, and connect you to support groups or other sources of help.
